The 2nd of September , 2025, marked an exciting new chapter for employees who joined the Capricorn District Municipality (CDM) as they were taken through the values and culture of the institution through a two-day induction programme held at CDM Council Chamber. Induction plays a vital role in helping new staff members understand the municipality’s systems, culture, and values from their very first day.CDM’s achievement of maintaining a clean audit is not by chance. It is the result of ongoing efforts, including induction sessions that ensure employees are well informed about their roles and responsibilities from the start.
During the induction, various municipal units presented on key areas such as Human Resources, Legal Services, Communication, Finance, and Training. These sessions are designed to familiarize employees with the policies, procedures, and standards that guide the municipality’s daily operations.
