On 26 November 2025, Capricorn District Municipality (CDM) leadership, led by MMC for Infrastructure Cllr. Maite Mohale, met with Inveraan community representatives today to deliver a clear update on the long-awaited water project.The session, held at the Inveraan Community Hall, laid out progress on the massive upgrade, including construction of an 11 000m pipeline, installation of a 1 105KL elevated steel tank, electrification of a new package plant, and equipping of boreholes.
Cllr. Mohale, representatives from community, and officials also visited the project site to assess work already underway. CDM says upon complwtion, the project is expected to improve water access for the entire community.
