Capricorn District Municipality successfully hosted theΒ first-ever Roads & TransportΒ infrastructure Summit,Β the two days programme took placeΒ at Bolivia Lodge in Polokwane. The Summit brought together all stakeholders in the transport sector for integrated planning in view of finding lasting solutions to roads and transport challenges. The focus of the Summit was to review the transport and roads infrastructure delivery model and consider ways of making transport a catalyst for economic development in the district. The CDM Acting Municipal Manager Thuso NemugumoniΒ and Roads Agency Limpopo (RAL) representative Mavis Mashashane presented theΒ status of roads in the district.Β Attending the summit were stakeholders from theΒ transport associations, departments, councillors and others.
