Capricorn District Municipality successfully hosted the first-ever Roads & Transport infrastructure Summit, the two days programme took place at Bolivia Lodge in Polokwane. The Summit brought together all stakeholders in the transport sector for integrated planning in view of finding lasting solutions to roads and transport challenges. The focus of the Summit was to review the transport and roads infrastructure delivery model and consider ways of making transport a catalyst for economic development in the district. The CDM Acting Municipal Manager Thuso Nemugumoni and Roads Agency Limpopo (RAL) representative Mavis Mashashane presented the status of roads in the district. Attending the summit were stakeholders from the transport associations, departments, councillors and others.
