Capricorn District Municipality Emergency Services, on 05 May 2026, hosted an International Fire Fighters Day (IFFD) roadshow in Lepelle-Nkumpi Municipality as part of ongoing fire safety awareness campaigns ahead of the winter season.
The team visited busy public areas including Mehlareng Mall and Zebediela Plaza, where community members received important fire safety information and educational pamphlets.
The roadshow forms part of preparations for the main International Fire Fighters Day commemoration scheduled for 20 May 2026, while also marking the beginning of the winter fire season.
