The Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC) of Capricorn District Municipality held a public hearing on the 2023/24’s Mid-Year Organisational Performance Report on 12 March 2024 using a virtual platform. The hearing was streamed on municipal Facebook page to ensure a broader community follows proceedings as they unfold live.The Chairperson Cllr Lisbeth Mothata led the session wherein the Executives and Administration were responding to MPAC questions submitted to the Office of the Executive Mayor Cllr Mamedupi Teffo and Municipal Manager Ramakutwane Selepe.
The public hearing was held in terms of Section 44 of the Municipal Systems Act No. 32 of 2000. The public was allowed to follow the proceedings online.
