CDM hold HAST GBV at Taaibosch

Capricorn District Municipality held the HAST Gender Based Violence at Taaibosch Ga-Mamadi Traditional Authority on 28 April 2021.

The aim of the campaign was to talk about the realities faced by the society in their daily lives, issues like Gender Based Violence, HIV/AIDS, and other domestic and societal issues.

Participating stakeholders are Community Based Organisations, Faith Based Organisations, Disability Centres, Early Childhood Development Centres, Mamadi Advice Centre, Department of Health, Department of Social Development.

Topics dealt with during the dialogue was bullying, Impact of Covid-19/lock down on GBV, Who is more patient between a man and a woman in a relationship, and A man can have extra-marital affairs.

The previous similar event was held at Mafefe, Lepelle-Nkumpi on 21 April 2021. Similar campaign will still be held in Molemole and Polokwane municipalities.
