Capricorn District Municipality has taken a group of fifteen interns, to further learn and sharpen their skills in various sections at the municipality. The interns joined the municipality in May and some in June 2022, with some of them placed at local municipalities.
The interns will be with the district for a period of eighteen months. The Foundation For Professional Development, which placed the interns, took them through what they should know regarding their contract, during their stay at the district. Thabiso Mabena from FPD shared with the interns the importance of them doing the internship. The interns joined the municipality through SETA and held a session with their training provider on 13 June 2022 at CDM Council Chamber in Polokwane.
