The Executive Mayor of Capricorn District Municipality (CDM), Cllr. Mamedupi Teffo, accompanied by the Whip of Council, Cllr. Matome Masoga, joined Deputy President Paul Mashatile, Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba and other key leaders at the 2026 Limpopo Government Investment Conference held at The Ranch Resort outside Polokwane.
Held under the theme “From Pledges to Prosperity: Accelerating Limpopo’s Industrial Future,” the conference focused on translating investment commitments into tangible economic growth, industrial development and job creation across the province.
The Executive Mayor and Council Whip also joined Premier Dr Ramathuba at the Limpopo Investment Networking Dinner, hosted by the Limpopo Tourism Agency at The Ranch Resort. The dinner provided an opportunity for leaders and stakeholders to engage on investment opportunities and strengthen partnerships aimed at advancing Limpopo’s economic development.
For Capricorn District Municipality, participation in these engagements was important in supporting efforts to attract investment, stimulate local economic development and create employment opportunities for communities across the district.
The success of the conference ultimately depended on translating investment pledges into tangible projects, sustainable jobs and lasting economic benefits for the people of Limpopo.
