CDM Council Imbizo to be held in Lepelle-Nkumpi

The community of Lepelle-Nkumpi will get an opportunity to have a say on the provision of services within their locality. This will take place during the Capricorn District Municipality council imbizo to take place on 11 September 2019 at Maditsi High School in Ga-Ledwaba.

The imbizo is part of the municipal programmes aimed at strengthening good governance and encouraging the public to participate and make inputs on the state of service provision within their communities.

The council imbizo, is a programme spearheaded by the Council Speaker Cllr Maite Mohale. It is held quarterly in order to bring council closer to the people. The council will listen to the service delivery and governance concerns raised by communities and also give feedback on the status of projects that are being implemented within the Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Municipality and the district as a whole.
