CDM closes offices after employee tests positive for COVID-19

IN a continuous effort to maintain safe working environment, CDM has on Wednesday 8 July 2020, notified staff and councillors to work from home after a staff member tested positive for Covid-19.

The public will therefore be unable to have their calls answered as our offices will be undergoing decontamination and disinfection process until 15 July when employees return to work. Our tracing team will also embark on a contact tracing of everyone associated with the infected employee in line with government Covid-19 safety protocols.

The Municipality reminds all employees, councillors and members of the public to continue taking the virulence of this virus seriously by avoiding unnecessary movement, avoid social contacts, avoid travelling by public transport if possible, wear a mask all the time, wash hands and sanitize regularly.

The Municipality wishes the infected employee a speedy recovery.
