Capricorn District Municipality visited creches in Mogwadi to teach toddlers fun and simple fire safety tips like Stop, Drop and Roll. The sessions were playful, educational, and all about keeping our little ones safe.This outreach follows a disaster awareness competition on community radio, where listeners won fire extinguishers and fire blankets for institutions of their choice.
Today’s beneficiaries were Dendron Creche, Future Angels both in Mogwadi, and George Tladi Technical High School in Mohodi Ga-Manthata all under Molemole Municipality.
A big thank-you to Mohodi FM loyal listeners Mahlodi Sadiki, Khomotso Mashalane, and Maropeng Mokobi for choosing to uplift their community. Disaster Management is everybody’s business. The awareness took place on 11 November 2025.
