CDM announce winners of the Cleanest School Competition in Lepelle-Nkumpi

CDM announced winners of the  Cleanest School Competition in Lepelle-Nkumpi at Lebowakgomo on 30 March 2021. The competition was open to both primary and secondary schools in  the Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Muncipality.
MMC for Community Services Cllr. Betty Kgare extended the municipality’s word of appreciation to the schools for their participation in the competition and encouraged them to continue taking part. She also reminded the learners to continue observing the Covid-19 protocol as the pandemic was still there.
Fifteen schools took part in the competition. Three secondary schools and twelve primary schools. The overall winner in the secondary school category was Segaeng Secondary School which went away with R10 000, a trophy and a certificate. The overall winner in the primary school category is Khureng Primary School which also scooped R10 000, a trophy and a certificate. All the schools that participated were regarded as winners because they took the first step to enter the competition.
