BACK TO SCHOOL CAMPAIGN AT NARE SECONDARY SCHOOL

On 15 January 2026, the Executive Mayor, Cllr Mamedupi Teffo, joined the MEC for Agriculture, Ms Nakedi Kekana, during the Back to School Campaign held at Nare Secondary School in Ga-Semenya, Moletjie, under the Bahlaloga Circuit in Polokwane Municipality.
The visit comes on the back of an outstanding academic achievement, with the Class of 2025 attaining an impressive 99.1% overall pass rate.
MEC Kekana applauded the school for maintaining a 100% pass rate in Agricultural subjects for the past five consecutive years, describing it as a remarkable milestone.
Emphasising the importance of agriculture, MEC Kekana noted that the school is nurturing future farmers and that it is crucial to support and develop learners to ensure sustainability and excellence in the sector.
She further announced that her department will donate a JoJo tank and seedlings to the school and committed to continued support.
The Executive Mayor congratulated the school on its sterling performance and extended her appreciation to the principal, educators, parents, learners, and the broader community for their unwavering support and dedication to education.
