Capricorn District Municipality held the last leg of the Cleanest School Competition at Blouberg Fire Station under Blouberg Local Municipality on 11 March 2024. The award-giving ceremony was for schools under Molemole Local Municipality.The overall winner is Rapoho Primary School(R6000.00) from Mohodi Newstand B. The 1st runner up is Nthlodumela Primary School (R4000.00) from Ga-Maponto. The 2nd runner up is Brussels Ngoako Primary School (R3000. 00) from Brussels- Ga-Tibu.
Eleven schools within this municipality competed. During all the ceremonies, learners were also educated about issues relating to disaster and municipal health.
The winners also received prizes from all sponsors of the competition. Sponsors for the competition were Polokwane Chemical Suppliers, Pick n Pay and Polycon.
