CDM EMBARKS ON CLEANEST SCHOOL BUILD-UP CAMPAIGNS

The Capricorn District Municipality (CDM) has officially launched its Cleanest School Build-Up Campaign, aimed at promoting hygiene, environmental awareness, and healthier learning spaces across the district.
Today, Member of the Mayoral Committee responsible for Community Services, Cllr Elizabeth Rahlana, led the awareness campaign at Ga-Matlala under Blouberg Local Municipality.
On 23 February 2026, the municipality conducted health awareness activations at Mafifing Primary School in Ga-Raweshi and Cracouw Primary School in Craucow Village. Both schools are among those that have entered and been assessed for the Cleanest School Competition.
The campaign featured informative presentations from Municipal Health Services, Fire and Rescue, Disaster Management, and Environmental Management Services, empowering learners and educators with knowledge on cleanliness, safety, and environmental responsibility.
The Cleanest School Build-Up programme will continue throughout the week as CDM strengthens its commitment to creating safe, clean, and healthy school environments for all.
