CDM held its 1st IDP/Budget Representative Forum 2024/2025 at Nirvana Community Hall, today 17th July 2024. The forum was led by the Executive Mayor of CDM Cllr. Mamedupi Teffo.The purpose of the meeting was to present and consult on the 2024/25 District framework and process plan and to encourage community and stakeholder engagement and participation in planning and budget processes of the district municipality.
The consultation was attended by Traditional Leaders, Councillors, NGOs, Civil Society and other stakeholders. The municipality is still to consult other stakeholders before tabling the final 2024/2025 IDP Budget to the Council mid 2025.
