HANDOVER OF NEWLY BUILT HOUSE IN NTSIMA VILLAGE

The Executive Mayor Cllr Mamedupi Teffo and the MEC for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs (Cogsta)  handed over a newly built house at Ntsima Village, Ga-Dikgale under the Polokwane Municipality.
The event began with a visit to Ga-Dikgale Moshate, were the Executive Mayor and MEC briefed Kgoshi Dikgale about the initiative. This was a collaboration between the municipal and provincial governments showcasing their commitment to improving the lives of the community members in the area.
The only thing I can say is thank you,” said a tearful Mme Makgato as she received the keys to her new house.
“Let’s give houses to people who are deserving. Mme Makgato’s family has three children and four grandchildren. I give your grandchildren school bags as a symbol and a reminder that this government says, ‘go to school and become better,'” said MEC Makamu, handing over the house to Ms. Makgato.
“On the 24th of October 2024, I made a commitment to the Petition Committee chaired by Honorable Mapula Mokaba that I would deliver the house before Christmas. And we have delivered,” added Makamu.
Executive Mayor, Mmakgoshi Dikgale and Honorable Mokaba thanked MEC Makamu and the developer, Zhora Khan. Khan said, “Ga-Dikgale is my home; building this house was about giving back to a community that raised me.”
The event held on 20 December 2024 was also attended by community members.
