The Capricorn District Municipality District Magoshi Forum, held on 27 August 2026 at the Landmark Hotel, brought together traditional leaders to engage with Executive Mayor Cllr Mamedupi Teffo on matters affecting communities across the district.
Magoshi, through the Chairperson of the District House of Traditional Leaders, Kgoshi Kgabo III, applauded the Executive Mayor for her continued support, transparency, regular engagements and accountable leadership.
The Forum also featured a presentation on the Water Services Amendment Bill by Mr Thomani Manungufala, Content Advisor to the Portfolio Committee on Water and Sanitation in Parliament.
The engagement reaffirmed the importance of collaboration between traditional leadership, municipalities and government in addressing water challenges and improving service delivery.
