PUBLIC NOTICE
APPROVAL OF THE DRAFT 2026/2027-2030/31 IDP/BUDGET
AND PUBLIC CONSULTATIONS SCHEDULE
Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 25 of the Municipal Systems Act (Act 32 of 2000) and Section 22 of the Local Government Municipal Finance Management Act (Act 56 of 2003) that the Council has approved the Draft 2026/2027 IDP/Budget at its Special Council meeting held on the 31 March 2026 at 10:00.
In terms of Section 21 of the Local Government Municipal Systems Act (Act No 32 of 2000) the municipality hereby notifies the local community that the approved document is available for inspection on the municipal website (www.cdm.org.za) and at the following places; CDM offices at 41 Biccard Street, Local Municipalities offices (Blouberg, Lepelle-Nkumpi, Polokwane and Molemole) and Satellite Offices/ Fire Stations during normal office hours (08:00-16:30), Traditional Authorities and Libraries within the district. Written comments can be submitted to the Municipal Manager, Capricorn District Municipality, 41 Biccard Street, Polokwane for 21 days from date of this advert.
PUBLIC CONSULTATIONS SCHEDULE
In compliance with the Municipal Systems Act (Act 32 of 2000) Section (16)1, the municipality will be conducting the IDP/Budget Public consultations from the 08- 10 April 2026 as follows:-
