CDM Council Radio Imbizo Connects Leadership and Communities

The Acting Executive Mayor, Cllr Molatja Selamolela, led presentations during the CDM Council Radio Imbizo on behalf of Executive Mayor Cllr Mamedupi Teffo.

The simulcast imbizo held on 19 February 2026, was broadcast live on six community radio stations, namely Energy fm, Radio Turf, Mohodi fm, Moletsi fm, Botlokwa fm, Mphahlele fm and Blouberg fm.

The Council Imbizo programme, coordinated under the Office of the Speaker Cllr Kholofelo Lehong, continues to create a vital platform for meaningful engagement between community members and municipal leadership.

Through this initiative, residents are given the opportunity to interact directly with leaders and raise service delivery matters affecting their areas.

The Imbizo was broadcast live across six community radio stations in the district — Energy FM, Mohodi FM, Moletsi FM, Turf FM, Botlokwa FM and Blouberg FM — ensuring broad access and participation across Capricorn District.
