On 12 December 2025, Member of the Mayoral Committee, Cllr Matome Masoga, has warmly welcomed the launch of the 20th Marula Festival held at Mall of the North in Polokwane.The #MarulaFestival2026 was officially launched by Limpopo Premier Dr. Phophi Ramathuba during a special ceremony at Ster-Kinekor Cinema.
The Marula Festival remains one of Limpopo’s flagship cultural and economic events. In his remarks, Cllr Masoga reaffirmed Capricorn District Municipality’s commitment to promoting local tourism, preserving heritage, and unlocking economic opportunities for communities across the district.
