‘We as CDM are today handing over waste management equipment to Molemole Municipalitybecause we want to ensure that our communities live in a clean environment”
These were words of the Capricorn District Municipality’s Executive Mayor Cllr John Mpe, speaking during a ceremony to hand over waste equipments to Molemole Local Municipality. The district municipality handed over a five ton waste management truck, eight recycling bins and 30 skip bins, to Molemole on 20 October 2020 at Mogwadi.
The same equipment has been allocated to Lepelle-Nkumpi Municipality. CDM is yet to procure the same equipment to Blouberg and Polokwane Municipalities.
The Mayor of Molemole Municipality Cllr Edward Paya thanked CDM for the gesture.
