Spring Day is celebrated annually on 1 September and it has become synonymous with a culture of wasting water as the age-old symbolism of celebrating the new season. As it is mostly students and children who celebrate by throwing each other with buckets of water, CDM wishes to encourage residents to conserve water and rather find other creative ways of celebrating spring day without wasting water.
There’s never enough water to let it go to waste. CDM urges all the residents of our beautiful district to assist us in discouraging such water wastages and do their bit in their homes, recreational parks, schools and campuses to save water. Water is life and it cannot be taken for granted when it’s wasted. People need to preserve this scarce resource.
