The Capricorn District Municipality held an induction session for members of the Civil Society Forum on 17 May 2024 at CDM Council Chamber. The induction focused on the role that Civil Society Framework (CSF) plays in the community and was led by Office of the Premier: Limpopo Provincial Government Provincial Aids Council Unit.The purpose of the induction was to outline to members the purpose and roles of CSF( Civil society framework). Civil society is the aggregate of non-governmental organizations and institutions that involve diverse cultural, religious, and special interest groups that represent and implement the interests and will of citizens and enforce social norms.
The stakeholders who attended the induction included representatives from different sectors namely Traditional Healers Organisation, LGBTQI, Love Life, Albinism, Sex work sector, South African National Aids Council (SANAC).
