The National Department of Health led by Mr Nkuna conducted a two-day assessment on the performance of Capricorn District Municipality on Municipal Health Services (MHS).The purpose of the assessments was to monitor progress on municipal health performance to improve service delivery. All the MHS staff led by Ms Patience Mboweni responded to issues on the operations of their scope of work which was water quality control and monitoring, food quality control, health safety, etc
The District received 89% which is an improvement from the 79% received last year. The assessment took place on 14 November 2023 in Polokwane. Despite the many challenges they face in their line of work, we congratulate our Municipal Health Practitioners for going the extra mile to ensure service delivery is rendered effectively and efficiently to the community of Capricorn District without fear or favour.
