CDM in partnership with Eskom and University of Limpopo has today hosted Young Scientists Expo at Polokwane Airport.
As Capricorn District Municipality, we strongly support the Expo because we believe that innovation in science is critically important to finding lasting solutions to everyday and future challenges. The fair is also expression of vote of confidence in the potential of all leaners to become and appreciate the wonders of science and become ambitious do well in mathematics and science.
The fair encourages excellence in those getaway subjects, add to their knowledge and entrepreneurial possibilities while broadening leaners scientific horizons. The expo’s programme also teaches the importance of team work, leadership skills and independent thinking as leaners are expected to work on projects as groups and in individual projects.
