CDM commemorates IDDR

Capricorn District Municipality commenced with the 2021 commemoration of International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction at Ga-Molepo Moshate under Polokwane Local Municipality.

The commemoration is a build-up awareness program aimed at educating the community on issues of disaster management, Fire safety, road safety and municipal health services.

This years commemoration is held under the theme, “Sustainability enhance District Development Model through adequate and sustainable support to complement District Disaster Management Programs”.

The session was also attended by the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) which spoke on election education. The department of Health Molepo Clinic was providing vaccination on site.
